Moloss is the first regional manufacturer of pet food. The assortment of the company includes food for large and small cat and dog breeds. The distinguishing feature of the production is reasonable price. Nevertheless, the manufacturer wished his production had a bright appearance which would help the brand to compete on equal terms with the Western analogues. The task to create a striking, catchy design in the shortest possible time was posed. For that I made series of animal illustrations. Images made in a single angle exclusively for this project were the basic element of design, a bright background and brand new, more emotional logo was created too. The work on design realized in cooperation with the representative of “Comexi” - the manufacturer of plastic packaging. Every step of image creating and colour selection was consulted to reach the best outcome. The result was bright and alluring design. The renewed package attracted the attention of consumers and many were surprised that the product was of local production. Only 3 weeks later the sales department stated a considerable sales growth. It was clearly shown how packaging design is an important factor in determining the successful introduction of a product to the market.
